The first steps…

Saturnalia's journey began in 2016, when our CTO Daniele De Vecchi and his team conceptualized the idea during the European Space Agency's Space Camp App and it was recognized as one of the winning projects. Saturnalia's vision began to take shape.

Satellite Innovation for a Sustainable Future.

In 2025, Saturnalia turned things around with a complete redesign: new logo, fresh colors, and a look that tells the story of the company's evolution.

This change would not have been possible without the support of an investment fund that saw the potential in the project and decided to bet on it. Thanks to their trust, Saturnalia has been able to renew itself, maintaining its mission of bringing innovative solutions to the world of satellite monitoring, but with a new energy and an even more ambitious vision for the future.

Continued support from the European Space Agency has supported the development of Saturnalia. The projects carried out have facilitated the creation of a platform tailored to the wine market and beyond. ESA's support has validated Saturnalia's innovative approach, fostering its growth and credibility in the industry.

Today, Saturnalia is a prime example of how innovation and technology are reshaping the precision agriculture industry. In late 2023, we brought to market our latest daily monitoring product, which provides farmers with cost-effective and accurate support for managing the health of their fields using only satellite imagery and weather data.


The team consists of porfessionals from Italy, Austria, Australia, and Peru, who contribute their expertise to further Saturnalia's mission. With current international expansion underway in Europe, America and Australia, we have many exciting things in store for 2025, and we look forward to sharing them with you!
