From 2 to October 10, Milan becomes the capital city of the countless nuances of Wine. The city will in fact host the Milano Wine Week for 9 days full of events totally focused on wine, its professional actors and wine lovers.
Our project manager Daniele De Vecchi will show Saturnalia point of view by taking part in a panel focusing on the innovation and the transformation that are guiding consumers trends both in the market and distribution of the wine world.
On October 5, from 2 to 3pm (CEST), Daniele is participating in the Wine Geek Symposium which is going to present consumers’ attitudes over the next 5 years. Together with him, also Demetri Walters (MW, UK), Thomas Piras (Sommelier Contraste, Milano), Melissa Saunders (MW, US), Massimo Malfassi (Enoclub, Milano), Ciatti (bulk wines), Robert Symington (Symington Port, PT) are going to share their experiences. Register to follow the event via stream on the dedicated platform.
10 Milan districts become “wine embassies” dedicated to Italian Consortia. The 10 Wine Districts are going to host hundreds of events, such as tastings and food&wine matchings, in order to discover and learn more about the several production areas in Italy.
Palazzo Bovara is going to burst with activity for this Milan Wine Week: it will not only host a series of events dedicated to the final consumer, but it will also be a unique opportunity to deepen one’s wine knowledge thanks to the many masterclasses to be held in the building.
Palazzo Bovara constitutes once again the core of the whole event capable of transforming Milan into a world center for wine promotion. It will indeed host 100 events dedicated to the operators of 7 international markets of major importance for export: USA, Canada, UK, Russia, China, Japan, Hong Kong.

Among the many scheduled events, we signal the exclusive presentation on Friday 8 October of the Slow Wine 2022 guide. Not to be missed in the Megawatt Court building, the tasting of more than 1400 wines on Saturday 9 October and Sunday 10 October from 12 to 19 pm.
We point out also the Mondial des Vins Extremes, an international oenological contest organised by CERVIM together with the support of the OIV (Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin) and the authorisation of the Ministero alle Politiche Agricole Alimentari e Forestali. It will take place on Sunday 10 October, from 2.30pm, in Palazzo Bovara. Also on Sunday, from 5.30pm (CEST), is scheduled the presentation of the Guida Vini Buoni d’Italia to close the fair.
